Music Man Sabre I

Music Man Sabre I

Designed by the man himself, Leo Fender, the Sabre I is a super cool guitar. Superficially, it resembles a hard tail dual humbucker stratocaster, but the electronics take it to new territories. This one is from 1978, when Fender was still at Music Man.

The Sabre features an active preamp with bass and treble controls, as well as a treble boost and out of phase switch. It's got a lot of boost and works especially well pushing a tube amp. The sounds are versatile without being gimmicky, and it's a joy to play. A vintage classic that you can still afford, stands out from the masses and has the build quality needed for touring and studio work.

Condition: very good, with light play wear. Fully original without mods or repairs

Included: original manual and tool set, as well as the case the original owner bought with it in 1978 (not the original Music Man Case though).
